Our wedding ceremony was a HIT! Everything went down just as we had dreamt. From the decorations to executions, being surrounded by our loved ones, there's nothing more we could have wished for as we exchanged our vows and put on the rings.

We started out as the unlikely couple, fought against our odds and found forever love in each other. In the same sense, our wedding planning journey was an epitome of our relationship.

 

We took on the challenge to complete our wedding in 6 months. During those time, we learnt to work together effectively and efficiently. Everything was going according to the plan. We secured the venue, laid out a sound program, studied the Chinese wedding rituals, put together an excellent wedding team. Everything was good to go.

 

Then Omicron happened, just 2 weeks ahead of our big day. We had to scrap everything and plan anew. We thought to ourselves, this got to be be our final test from destiny. Instead of feeling discouraged, we wasted no time, cleared the table and got straight to work. We, along with the planning party, were a gung ho unit. In 2 weeks time, we found a new venue, rethink our decorations and arrangements, rebuild a guestlist, reprogram our rundown, and in the end, we think we pulled it off. We fought against the final challenge and rose above.

 

On the note, we just want to take a moment and thank all our guests for sharing in our wedding ceremony. We are grateful for your presence and warm wishes, and we appreciate your continuing love and support. Your smile and laughter gave us a sense of satisfaction and made this an unforgettable memory of our lives. Our big day would not be the same without you. We sincerely hope you had as much fun as we did.

Unfortunately, it’s not been possible to have everyone we love with us on the day, but we know you were there with us in spirit and not only in our thoughts, but more importantly in our hearts.
